Golden Slippers was founded in 1979 in the Lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach. We have four locations… Lynnhaven, General Booth/Redmill, Kempsville/Greenbrier andHaygood. The Studio has FABULOUS instructors and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We offer ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, pointe, acro and contemporary classes. Creative ballet/tap ,offered from 3-5 yr olds, is designed to teach basic technical skills in a light, fun manner. The children then graduate to barre (ballet/tap combination classes) then into hour specialty classes based on their interest.

The instruction is not only designed to teach, but to nurture each child to grow as individual dancers and have them ENJOY their overall dance experience. We are proud to have been voted “Best of the Beach” Dance Studio GOLD Award for the last seventeen years in a row! We also have the distinction of being voted the “Best Small Business in Virginia Beach” by the Chamber of Commerce. Our Recitals are compared to Broadway Shows held at Chrysler Hall..the finest venue in Virginia. It is truly during these times that our extreme professionalism and organizational skills shine through.

We also offer Ballroom lessons for Adults  are offered in our Lynnhaven location. It has long been our goal to provide a quality product at a reasonable price and cater to the convenience of our patrons with great locations and class schedules. We are a non-contract school and we offer family discounts.
