Lexi is originally from Washington State and has been dancing for 19 years.
She started her dance journey in a small Seattlestudio at 3 years old. In 2023, she enrolled at the University of Washington where she danced in several department concerts and became one of the founding members of Developpe Dance Club, teaching classes to other University students.
Lexi has a degree in Dance and English. Throughout her time in college, she discovered her love of teaching. Her studies emphasized safe, informed, inclusive and respectful approaches to dance teaching.
Alongside teaching at Golden Slippers, Lexi is an assistant teacher at a local preschool, teaching pre-k to 4/5 year old. Lexi recently moved to the area and is looking forward to spending more time at the beach.
