Amanda Beeler teaches a variety of dance classes and is one of the coaches of the Elite Dance Team, helping the team get to nationals every year and has won choreography awards for her pieces. She has been with Golden Slippers since 2016.
Amanda is from Union City, Indiana and started dancing when she was three. She’s trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater. She competed with IHSDA for four years in high school and she participated in musical theater and cheerleading. After high school she attended Ball State University for English and Dance. While in college she began teaching dance and choreographing for studios and teams. That’s where she found her love for teaching!
“Music and dance are such a big part of my life and the best part about it is sharing it with my students,” says Amanda.
She has also performed in musical theater productions such as “Nunsense,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “High School Musical” and played Maria in “The Sound of Music.” She has also taught at Dazzle Dance and Cheer in Muncie, Indiana and the Governor’s School for the Arts in Virginia.
Amanda lives in Norfolk with her husband and two fur babies.
